Steve Brown

Master Mariner

Steve is another Master Mariner who joined the company in 1996.  Steve has served on tankers and on general cargo vessels and has command experience and a Pilot Exemption Certificate for the River Humber.  Steve gained invaluable heavy lift experience in the Falkland Islands where he was the Joint Sevices Logistics Manager ensuring safe and efficient discharge and distribution of logistical materials throughout the islands.  Before joining McAuslands Steve managed a liner service on the Humber being involved in the loading and discharging of many different types of cargoes both in the U.K. and overseas.

Steve also takes particular interest in tanker operations, working closely with Len on major disputes involving quantity and specification disputes.
