Marine and Cargo Surveyors, Consulting Engineers, P and I Club Correspondents

Felixstowe Office Increases Capacity

Our Felixstowe operations go from strength to strength and we now represent some of the major lines operating into that port.  P & I Club instructions continue to grow as our presence becomes more widely known and instructions through our Lloyd's Agency are already on the increase.

As such we now have another 'hand on deck' in the name of Ian Anderson.  However, as a Chief Engineer he may choose to use a slightly different description of himself.

Ian served initially at sea with the P&O group as an Engineer Officer then for 10 years as Superintendent for a group of ships.

He gained First Class Certificates for both Steam and Motor ships.

Recently he has worked with the RNLI managing the technical operations of 42 lifeboat stations increasing his knowledge of smaller vessels. He qualified with merit in his Diploma in Marine Survey and also holds formal qualifications in Risk Assessment and Health and Safety, as well as Dangerous Cargoes.

He sails in his spare time and has qualified as Yacht Master in both Sail and Motor yachts.

McAusland & Turner's growing team of surveyors offer a huge wealth of experience and expertise on which clients can draw. Surveyors are available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year and can provide additional back-up no matter how large, or wherever, the appointment may be.

Our policy of strength through development is still at the forefront of the Compay's strategy. We are proud of our rich history and we look to the future with continuing enthusiasm.
